Our storey
At Lippys, we’re more than just a lip balm brand, we’re a mother-and-daughter team passionate about creating something truly special. Our journey began during maternity leave, when creativity sparked the idea to craft a lip balm that’s safe, nourishing, and suitable for everyone.
We experimented with countless recipes, refining each ingredient to develop a formula that has natural healing and moisturizing properties. Every lip balm we make reflects our commitment to quality and care. We’re incredibly grateful for the unwavering support of our family and friends. From the very first tube of Lippys, they’ve been by our side, offering encouragement, honest feedback, and helping us shape our vision every step of the way.

We’ve lived the impact of not having support when it mattered most. After navigating multiple family tragedies without mental health care, it wasn’t until experiencing postpartum depression, and finally receiving support, that we truly understood how life‑changing help can be.
Each lip balm comes with an inspiring quote on a separate sticker, designed to spread positivity and remind us that mental well-being matters. Even small gestures can make a big difference. To further this mission, a portion of every purchase is donated to the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand.
